This honey glaze is a perfect balance of sweet and tangy to complement a bone-in ham. It's simple, fast, and easy to make.

Method

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat your oven to 325 F (165 C).
  2. 2
In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
  4. 4
Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham.
  5. 5
Bake the ham in the preheated oven for about 22-25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 145 F (63 C).
  6. 6
Baste the ham every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze and cover with foil to prevent over-browning.
  7. 7
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
