Nothing pairs more perfectly with smoked bone-in ham than pineapple. The deep, sweet combination of pineapple and honey balances the ham's natural salty bite.

Method

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. 2
In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
  4. 4
Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the glaze generously over the surface.
  5. 5
Bake the ham in the preheated oven for about 22-25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
  6. 6
Baste the ham every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze and cover with foil to prevent over-browning.
  7. 7
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
